Greg's Games at a Glance
History
Greg's Games was started by Greg Peck out of his home in 2018 and then in October of 2019, he opened the brick and mortar store in Hamilton Township. Despite minor setbacks from the pandemic, Greg's strong customer base helped him quickly expand and double the store space from 1300 to 2600 sq feet of retail and gaming. It's since become one of New Jersey's premier stores and one of the state's first WPN Premium stores, approaching 5 years in operation.
On top of Magic, the store also supports Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Warhammer, Lorcana, and D&D. It can seat up to 48 seated players for events. Additionally, a unique community aspect of the store is that it has a large LGBTQ and women following. On a monthly basis they hold meetups at Greg's Games where they play Magic, D&D, and other games.

Greg's Games held a Legacy $1K on Saturday, August 7th. Considering the lame duck state of the format, RCQs at other stores, and it being Gen Con weekend, the store still had 22 players come out to compete for the top prize. After 5 rounds of Swiss, I fought to become top seed in the cut to Top 8 with a 4-1 record while piloting Orzhov Death & Taxes. Then in the Quarterfinals, Foil Bug's very own designer, Jason Murray, knocked me out in a mind-numbing mirror match. GGs!
Formats
The Magic formats supported at the store include Legacy, Vintage, Commander, and RCQ formats including Standard, Sealed, or Modern.
Inventory
For Magic, there are bulk boxes players can casually browse through, and an online digitized TCGPlayer store connected to the in-store inventory. Greg's Games also has plenty of sleeves for various card games, introductory starter sets for Pokémon and Lorcana, adorable plushies, amongst a plethora of other gaming supplies.
Food Options
Nearby food options include an Irish Pub called Killarney's Publick House and Rossi's Bar & Grill right across the street for burgers and pasta. A short drive just a little north of the store, there's Vincent's Pizza for pizza and subs, or even Halal at Naz's Halal Food - Hamilton.
Transportation
Only a few miles off of the New Jersey Turnpike (I-95), Greg's Games is situated almost exactly half way between NYC and Philadelphia. By car from each city, it's easily under an hour and a half. Another option is taking the regional train from either major city over to Trenton Train Station to get into the area.
